Why: Provide crop diversity and enhance sunlight harvest
60-inch corn rows provide the window of opportunity for additional plant
diversity and efficient sunlight harvest. A combination of perennial and annual
cover crops is used. The perennials include cool season introduced and cool
season natives, along with legumes and flowering forbs.
